Max Michel is perhaps the most well known athlete in the world of shooting sports. With several world championships to his name, any design created to represent him and his brand must reflect that level of prestige.
I designed a new logo and accompanying flyer for his Elite Training Camp. The crown-inspired logo is appropriate for a man who has dominated the realm of shooting sports for so long, and the gold and white color scheme reinforce the regal theme as well as the premium quality one can expect when attending this event.
The next project was creating a flyer and new website banners for Max’s Pro Shooter Experience. The event’s location of Las Vegas was incorporated into the designs, with images of attendees and instructors in the vast desert landscape representing the experience one can expect during the day, while the vibrant colors sprinkled throughout are indicative of the Vegas nightlife ready to be enjoyed after a long day of shooting.
Laser Shot Simulations is a Texas-based company that produces simulators, training courseware, simulated weapons, and live-fire ranges for military, law enforcement, competition, and personal firearms training.
I design and manage print collateral that promotes our products and image as a cutting-edge company bringing the industry of firearms training into the future.
A complete overhaul of Laser Shot’s print and physical media, was necessary. This included catalogs, flyers, user manuals, booklets, a library of pop-up banners, posters hung throughout the office, trade show booth banners, branded merchandise, and more. Cohesive branding across all mediums was implemented, utilizing powerful, eye-catching imagery and emphasizing the company’s position at the forefront of simulated firearms training.
As a forward-thinking tech company, Laser Shot’s consistent online presence is a necessity. I design social media posts, banners, logos, profile pictures, video thumbnails, desktop wallpapers, and more, all while maintaining consistency with the company’s print media and reputation as a leader in simulated firearms training.
Though the company’s visual identity existed prior to my arrival, it was outdated and inconsistent. I incorporated the established elements of the company’s icon and color palette with a modern aesthetic to more accurately reflect the nature of both the firearms and simulations industries.
In 2018 I had the opportunity to work as a graphic design intern for the St. Louis Blues, Enterprise Center, and Stifel Theater. I was given a variety of projects including flyers, social media posts, banners, illustrations, calendars and more.
